Data protection

Klosterquell Hofer Vertriebs GmbH ("Klosterquell") respects the personal rights of visitors to its website and is aware of the importance of protecting personal data. Klosterquell collects, processes and uses personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions. Please read this data protection declaration carefully.

Which data is collected, and how?

Klosterquell collects personal data such as first names and surnames, postal addresses and email addresses only insofar as these are provided by you on a voluntary basis. For example, we collect personal data from you so that we can find out what you think about our website and products and so that you can enter our competitions and prize draws.

Forwarding of personal data

Klosterquell does not forward personal data on to third parties. This excludes the internal forwarding of data within Klosterquell subsidiaries. However, even in this case, we shall only pass on the data if the person concerned has consented to this or if passing on the data is permitted by law.

Klosterquell may engage other companies to perform various tasks such as fulfilling orders, supporting promotions, providing technical services for our websites, etc. These companies may have access to personal data inasmuch as this is required for them to fulfil their tasks. These companies shall only use personal data for the purpose of fulfilling this specific task and not for any other purpose.

Klosterquell reserves the right to use or disclose data to the extent necessary to comply with the law or to protect the integrity of the website or to respond to legitimate requests.

Data protection pertaining to minors

We are particularly careful when communicating with children and young people.

On our websites, we offer many attractions such as games for which children do not have to provide personal data. We collect personal data from children up to the age of 13 only to a limited extent and only to the extent permitted by law or with the consent of their legal guardian. Subject to the above conditions, we also collect a child's email address to enable them to enter a competition. We do not collect any further data from children up to the age of 13, such as their postal address or telephone number, unless they have the consent of a parent or guardian.

When participating in online activities, Klosterquell shall not require children to provide more personal information than is necessary in order to participate in the particular activity, and is permitted by law or is covered by the consent of a parent or guardian.

Insofar as personal data is collected from children, it shall only be used by Klosterquell and the companies that provide technical or other services for Klosterquell, insofar as the abovementioned steps are permitted by law or are covered by the consent of a parent or guardian. The services provided by these companies include, for example, the improvement of our websites, the processing of enquiries and the organisation of competitions. This personal data shall not be forwarded on to third parties.

We kindly request parents to regularly monitor their childrens’ online activity and to supervise them. Within the scope of participation in online activities, Klosterquell shall not require children to provide more personal information than is necessary in order to participate in the particular activity to an expedient extent.
